What if…your executive coach enabled you to jump start your sales growth? Part 2
In my previous post I gave you some ‘wake up’ questions which prompted you to think how you will jump start your sales.
The questions from sales guru Jack Daly challenged you on growth strategy and included key areas such as sales and marketing, presenting data to customers as well as branding and communication.
If you didn’t complete the questions the first time round, as a coaching executive I urge you to do so now and compare your responses to the answers below:
The golden keys to unlocking growth strategy:
A) 1: Finding new customers is 2.8 times more effective to achieve a company’s growth strategy.
B) 1: Increasing the value of the average sale is 3.9 times more effective to grow sales.
C) 2: Clear and simple words are twice as effective when presenting data to prospects and customers.
D) 2: Product and service demonstrations are 47 per cent more effective at building credibility.
E) 1: Dependability is 3 times more important to customers than competence.
F) 2: A focused growth strategy has a 60 per cent greater chance of success to build growth than going after too many segments.
G) 1: Using a blunt, overt benefit marketing strategy is 54 per cent more likely to succeed and 75% more likely to survive beyond 5 years.
H) 2: Copy that is pitched at a 10 year old’s level is 70 per cent more effective.
How did you do? If you don’t stay on track and focus on what will achieve your goals, the number of hours you work, or how hard you work, is immaterial. It is also important to seek input from ‘a second pair of eyes’, or a resource who is uninvolved in the day-to-day and who can add value as a true guiding light.
