Executive Coach Part 1 – executive coaching from your local business strategist:
As an executive coach and business strategist I develop in Chief Executives and business owners the knowledge and skills to ask themselves and their people the right questions which give them a set of choices they would not otherwise have. The questions include:
- Are you and the business pointed in the right direction? If so, how do you know your business strategy is aligned?
- Are you trying to WIN or are you trying not to lose? (it makes a BIG difference)
- What are you focused on and why?
- What are you not willing to change about the business or how you run it?
- If you could start over again, what would be different and why? What would be the same?
- Do you have a point of view about the future – i.e. a “vision” and are you managing the business accordingly and the business strategist guidelines you are following?
- When you look at the decisions you have made over the years, to what extent have they worked out because you’ve been lucky or smart? Were the decisions that failed poor choices….or good decisions badly implemented?
The responses we elicit from these questions form a powerful platform from which to develop a strategy that will catapult the Chief Executive and business owner – and those they are leading – onto the right path. I’m also with them on that journey – no matter how short or long. My expertise as a business strategist in executive coaching helps them to keep focused on their desired outcomes.
