Executive Coach Part 3 – highlighting and developing great leadership attributes

Being a leader requires a wealth of skills including discipline, and a strong focus on process and the bottom line.

As an expert in strategy consulting, and leadership and executive coaching, I work with Chief Executives, business owners and top executives to develop and enhance their knowledge, skills and confidence so they can:

  • enlist the help and support of others to achieve a task (e.g. leadership coaching or a business strategist)
  • enable and empower their people to be extraordinary (using the wonderful range of executive coaching tips in this blog)

As a leadership coach employing business strategy I also develop their capacity to:

  • listen and observe
  • use their expertise as a starting point to encourage dialogue between all levels of decision-making
  • establish processes and transparency in decision-making
  • articulate their own values and visions clearly but not impose them
  • set – and not just react to – agendas
  • identify problems, and initiate change that makes for substantial improvement rather than managing change

I enable leaders to practise and preach the six key responsibilities of a Chief Executive. They are – the survival of the business, ensuring adequate resources are available, keeping the rivers of cash flowing, putting robust processes in place – and keeping all stakeholders on side and ensuring good corporate governance.
